procedure for Georgia Tech students participating in another U.S. institution eligible for Title IV as a temporary institution (student either at home or abroad): ◾ students must provide a copy of the Chancery registration form ◾The host institution must complete and sign the temporary grant form; ◾The student must provide proof of registration and payment of fees at the host school ◾If the host institution has not signed the temporary grant form, we cannot provide financial assistance for Title IV until a transcript ◾significative for temporary status is received: in accordance with the agreement, which was signed on August 18, graduate students from a TCSG accredited SACSCOC college can obtain their college credits in one of the following nine programs offered by Mercer`s College of Continuing and Professional Studies or Tift College of Education , transferred to a bachelor`s degree. : Atlanta – The management of the Georgia Technical College System and Mercer University has signed a articulation agreement that creates new training opportunities for TCSG students who are completing an associate degree from one of the 19 TCSG colleges accredited by the Southern Association of College and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). “We thank The University Provost Wallace Daniel and his faculty and collaborators for their desire to collaborate with the TCSG on this articulation agreement and to offer new opportunities to our students. It creates a flawless path for TCSG graduates who wish to pursue higher education and obtain a bachelor`s degree at one of Georgia`s leading private universities,” said Ron Jackson, Commissioner of TCSG. Students eligible for the HOPE/Zell Miller Scholarship at their home institution should follow the following procedure. No other help (including loans) is available through Georgia Tech. Students should contact their home institutions to determine if their help can be used during temporary conditions. Gwinnett Tech also has local articulation agreements with the colleges listed below.

To qualify for the Georgia HOPE/Zell Miller Scholarship for the term you wish to visit as a temporary student, you must submit the HOPE Scholarship Transient form. If you have the right, you must submit this form to our office before participating in the host institution. We transmit the information electronically to the host institution. Your HOPE/Zell Miller scholarship is paid through your host institution. University System of Georgia – The TCSG-USG agreement defines 28 general education courses that will be transferred guaranteedly between accredited COC bag institutions. A number of additional Gwinnett Tech courses are available in USG schools and further information is available in the transfer equivalency database on the usg school website or when contacting the school. You work hard for your course credits, and should be able to take them with you wherever you go! Thanks to articulation agreements between the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG), the Georgia University System (USG), the Georgia Independent College Association (GICA) and the following colleges, you can transfer well-written credits between SACS-COC accredited schools. Georgia Tech (Home School) A student attending an institution other than the Transient Your HOPE/Zell Miller Scholarship will NOT pay for the following semesters until the transcripts are received and articulated by the Georgia Tech Registrar`s Office.
